Three ways to get hold of us, all of them direct

There is no ticket system and no outsourced call centre. Ring the kitchen number and you will speak to someone who was on the packing line this morning, which is usually faster than email when something needs fixing on the same day.

Ring the kitchen

+64 7 491 6038

Best between 6am and 5pm on weekdays. If it rings out we are on the pass, so try again in ten minutes or send an email instead.

Send an email

hotoffersdaily@gmail.com

Use this for orders, invoices, dietary questions and anything you want in writing. Most emails get a reply within a few hours on a working day.

Come to the kitchen

181 Kahikatea Drive, Melville, Hamilton 3206, New Zealand

Turn off Kahikatea Drive at the second service lane and look for the roller door with the green stripe. Parking is right outside.

Send a message

Tell us what you need and we will sort it

Whether it is a new weekly box, an office lunch order, an allergy question or a problem with last night's dinner, this form goes straight to the kitchen inbox. Give us enough detail to act on and we can usually fix things without a back and forth.

  • Replies within one working day, usually sooner
  • For a same day fix, use the phone number above
  • Your details stay in our order system and nowhere else
  • Read what we keep and why in the privacy policy

If your message is about a delivery that has already gone out today, ring the kitchen rather than waiting on this form. Our refund and replacement position is set out in the refund policy.

Find us

The kitchen sits just off Kahikatea Drive in Melville

We are a couple of minutes from the Hamilton city end of the Waikato Expressway and about ten from the Frankton rail yards. If you are coming for a planned tour, park in the marked bay and go around to the door on the right hand side.

Directions

Getting here without the wrong turn

  • From the city, turn into Kahikatea Drive off Normandy Avenue and continue past the industrial units.
  • From the expressway, take the Melville exit and turn left at the first set of lights.
  • There is a shared driveway next door to us, so do not turn in there by mistake.
  • Buses run along Kahikatea Drive every twenty minutes through the day.
  • Bike parking is under the awning on the left of the roller door.
Opening hours

When the kitchen, phones and drivers are working

We work early because the food does. The phones open the moment the first batch goes on, and the delivery vans leave before lunchtime so your box is in the fridge before the afternoon.

Where we deliver

Six routes across Hamilton and the wider Waikato

Each route runs on a fixed timetable so you know roughly when your box turns up. If you are on the edge of a route and unsure whether we cover you, send an address through the form above and we will check it against the driver's sheet.

Hamilton city and suburbs

Delivered five days a week, free on all weekly boxes. Melville, Frankton, Hamilton East, Claudelands and the central streets all sit on the same run.

Cambridge and Te Awamutu

Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Cambridge orders close at noon the day before, Te Awamutu orders close at 4pm.

Morrinsville and Huntly

Wednesday deliveries. Same free delivery rate as Hamilton for weekly boxes, though one-off orders carry the wider Waikato fee.

Raglan and the west coast

Friday run only. We leave early because the road can be slow in winter, and Raglan boxes go out first on that route.

Office accounts

Standing lunch orders get a scheduled slot, usually between 11am and 12:30pm. We work around your meeting calendar if you tell us when the room is used.

Outside the Waikato

We can arrange courier delivery for freezer-friendly meals. Send the address and a rough quantity and we will come back with a per box figure.

Who to ask

Find the right person rather than the general line

For everyday questions the kitchen line is quickest. For anything that needs an actual decision, these four are the people who can make it.

Rather than emailing a named person directly, put their name in the message box on the form above and we will route it internally.

Before you call

Questions we can usually answer straight away

Ring the kitchen number above. Weekday deliveries usually run between 11:30am and 3pm, so give it until mid afternoon before worrying. If a van has broken down we call you before we call anyone else, so a silent phone is a good sign.

Same day changes are usually too late, because the food is already cooked. Changes up to two days before your delivery go through without an issue. If something urgent has come up, ring and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.

For anything longer than a pickup, yes. The kitchen is a working food production space, so we run tours in set windows on Tuesday and Thursday mornings rather than letting people wander through unannounced. Book through the form above or on the about page.

Send us the office address, a rough headcount and any dietary needs through the form. We will come back with a quote and, if you want, do a trial delivery before you commit to a standing order. Pricing per head is laid out on the price page.

Yes. Leave them out for the next delivery and we will collect them then, or bring them to the kitchen during opening hours. Boxes that never come back get charged at replacement cost, which is the one line in our terms and conditions that catches people out.

Why Winter Food in New Zealand Tastes Better When You Cook Seasonal

A slower growing season puts more sugar into the vegetable and it survives chilling far better. It is also why a winter box costs less than a summer one.

One last thing

If in doubt, just ring us and ask

We would rather answer a question properly than have you guess and end up with a box you did not want. There is a person at the pass who has been doing this for years, and a two minute phone call usually sorts out what three emails cannot.

  • Kitchen line from 6am on weekdays
  • Email for anything you need in writing
  • Walk in if you are already passing on Kahikatea Drive
  • Office accounts get a named contact and a direct number
